The Maloka Corporation coordinates the activities of the Technical Secretariat of IDEASS in Colombia, promoting the active participation of the involved national and local institutions (Ministries, Scientific Institutions, Universities, Local Economic Development Agencies, the ART-REDES Programme Local Offices). Maloka Corporation designs strategies to achieve social appropriation of science and technology. It integrates actors such as the Colombian Association for the Advancement of Science-ACAC, the Administrative Department of Science, Technology and Innovation-Colciencias, the District Institute for Culture and Tourism-IDCT, the District Secretary of the Department of Education, Economic Development and Culture, the Ardila Lule Organization, and another significant group of partners of public and private sectors.

The ART REDES Programme, realized by UNDP in collaboration with the Presidencial Agency for Social Action and International Cooperation and the National Planning Department of Colombia is the main promoter of the IDEASS activities in Colombia.
