THE MOTHER KANGAROO METHOD IS BEING ADOPTED IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES OF EQUATORIAL AFRICA
The Mother Kangaroo Method for the treatment and outpatient care of premature and low birth weight children, originated in Colombia in 1979, is being adopted by different countries of Equatorial Africa.
In Cameroon, the Mother Kangaroo Method has become an international program and the Laquintinie Hospital was selected by the Colombian inventors of the Method as pilot training centre for Central Africa.
