The International Conference on efficient and safe production processes in sustainable agriculture and forestry
The International Conference titled Efficient and safe production processes in sustainable agriculture and forestry will be held in Vienna from 29th to 01st July 2011. The conference is being organized by the Commission Internationale de l'Organisation Scientifique du Travail en Agriculture CIOSTA, in collaboration with the main institutions dealing with environmental issues (CIGR, EurAgEng, VDI, OKL, FJ Wieselbug BLT) and the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences of Vienna.
CIOSTA - Commission Internationale de l'Organisation Scientifique du Travail en Agriculture, whose President is Professor Josef Boxberger, is an international scientific organization founded in Paris in 1950, gathering many organizations of experts from more than 40 countries in Africa, America, Asia and Europe.
The CIOSTA Conference, held every 2 years, provides a forum to present and exchange ideas and to promote research, development and application of efficient and safe technology and management in production processes of agriculture and forestry. Aim of the conference is to emphasize a holistic and sustainable approach so as to design and improve systems and foster cooperation among scientists, technicians, advisers and producers throughout the world.
