Rincones del Atlántico
Rincones del Atlántico is a collective group publishing a book-magazine for the dissemination of knowledge, the enhancement and protection of the Canary Islands’ and of Macaronesia region landscape and natural and cultural heritage. The aim of the journal is to provide tools and instruments useful for educators, students, actors of local development and citizens interested in carrying out initiatives based on territorial culture, local traditions, environment, natural and cultural landscape of Canary Islands and its nearest archipelagos. Its website is an open participative forum for the publication of articles and news on topics such as traditional architecture, ecological and bio-climatic construction, renewable energy, natural farming and permaculture. From a pedagogical, cultural, humanistic, ethical and constructive perspective, it offers alternatives for an efficient, eco-friendly and sustainable development.
Rincones del Atlántico collaborates with IDEASS by identifying innovative experiences from Spain and other countries that value the protection of the natural landscape and cultural heritage for a more equitable and sustainable world.
